Acceptable Use Policy

The Intent Signaler is a business intelligence and outreach platform. By using it, you agree to the following:

You May

• Use lead signals and competitor intelligence to inform your own business decisions and outreach strategy
• Send outreach emails to business contacts via the platform’s email delivery service, from your verified business domain, in compliance with CAN-SPAM and applicable laws
• Use Intent Signaler’s SMS and WhatsApp features to communicate with Intent Signaler’s AI assistant (Holdsworth) about your own account and subscriber queries
• Use paid advertising integrations (Facebook Custom Audiences, Google Customer Match) to deliver ads to hashed audiences built from public data
• Monitor competitors and market signals in your service areas

You May Not

• Use the platform-provided SMS or WhatsApp number to send any outbound messages to prospects, leads, or any individual who is not an Intent Signaler subscriber. Prospect-directed SMS/WhatsApp outreach is not a supported feature of the platform. If you wish to send SMS outreach to your own customers, you must register your own A2P 10DLC or toll-free number with your carrier and obtain express written consent from recipients.
• Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) using the platform
• Contact individuals who have opted out or are on the Contact Block Registry
• Scrape, export, or resell data obtained through the platform
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other tenants’ data
• Circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or security controls
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or discriminate

Restrictions on Third-Party Data Use

The Platform incorporates contact and identity data licensed from third-party data providers. Your use of this data is bound by the following restrictions:

Eligibility Decisions

You may not use the Platform, or any data, contact information, or insights obtained through the Platform, to make decisions about a consumer’s eligibility for credit or insurance for personal, family, or household purposes; employment; any government license or benefit; or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The Platform is not a consumer reporting agency.

International Data Subjects

You may not use the Platform to target marketing, advertising, or other commercial outreach to data subjects located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom. The Platform’s data licenses do not authorize such use.

No Sublicensing or Redistribution

You may not sublicense, distribute, re-transmit, sell, rent, lease, loan, or otherwise make available to any third party the data, contact information, lead lists, or other materials obtained through the Platform. You may not provide third parties with access to the Platform on a service-bureau, time-sharing, managed-service, or similar basis. The data provided through the Platform is for your internal business use only.

Automated Decision-Making

You may not use Platform data to make automated decisions about individuals where such automated decision-making is restricted or prohibited by applicable law, including GDPR Article 22 and analogous regulations. Human-supervised outreach decisions consistent with applicable law are permitted.

Lawful Outreach Only

You will use Platform-provided contact information only for outreach that complies with applicable anti-spam, telemarketing, and data-protection laws — including the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You will honor unsubscribe and opt-out requests promptly, and you will not transfer Platform-derived contact lists to third parties for outreach.

Violation of any of these restrictions is a material breach of your agreement with Intent Signaler and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate account suspension. Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent termination without refund. We report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
